Home from the parents' house. Had a nice two days ... well, as nice as being a flea murderer can be, I guess. I've been richly rewarded with spiral-sliced ham and homemade au-gratin potatoes. MMMM!

I've had a four-day weekend, and I really am not in the frame of mind to go back to work tomorrow. I'm nervous, as I've heard that "round two" of TheFirm's cutbacks will be taking place tomorrow and Wednesday. I, along with Girlfriend, have about a 50/50 shot at staying employed. So, pray that our badges still work in the AM, okie?

Also of note: Today is Rhino's birthday. Happy birthday to one of the funniest (and nicest) guys I know ... stop on over to his journal and tell him hello!

Tomorrow: PRINCESS TURNS TWO! A trip to Chuck E. Cheese is in order. YIPPEE!
